The Executive Committee warmly invite ALL Members to a Special General Meeting to be held at the OBC Clubrooms, 7 Tamaki Drive, Orakei.

  1. Welcome from Commodore Phil Allen

  3. Commodore’s introduction to the proposals
  4. Proposal to adopt a new constitution to comply with the new Incorporated Societies Act - refer attached documents and ballot form.
  5. Proposal to seek approval to spend up to $300,000 plus GST to remediate the existing piles on the understanding that we would extend the clubrooms usage for a further 10 years.  Info pack and ballot paper will be emailed Thursday 10th April
  6. Proposal to seek approval to spend up to a maximum of $2,200,000 plus GST to pave the current grass area to the south side of the property, build a new implement shed, provide for future services.  Info pack and ballot paper will be emailed Thursday 10th April
  7. Provide information on the marina berth licence renewal for a further 35 years from first quarter 2028.
  8. Provide information on updating the current 2018 strategic plan now that we have completed stages 1,2 and 3.
